Planning

Over time, you can gradually extend pacing to your whole life. A helpful tool toward this end is planning. By living your life according to a plan, rather than in response to symptoms, you can have a more predictable life, gain an increased sense of control over your illness, and may be able to expand your activity level.

 
We suggest you start by making daily plans (described on the next page) and then move on to weekly plans (discussed here).
